 ABOUT ME

I grew up in an artistic home. My father was a part-time painter, and both my parents actively studied art history, and were museum and gallery enthusiasts. I always thought that one day I would become a painter—but it took awhile!

I started taking Studio Art courses in 2015 at my local community center. Then, after retiring from a career in business in 2021, I returned to college full-time to develop my drawing and painting skills. In 2025, I launched my first collection on this website.

My goal is to create paintings that inspire joy. I believe artists create a record of the times in which they live. I’m awed by nature’s beauty, and also value how humankind has made its imprint on our world. I try to portray my observations with each brushstroke.
